What’s inspiring you the most this week to be your best? Though I often have things on my plate that I dread getting done, I try to look past them and think of what I’ll be able to enjoy stress-free once I accomplish my tasks. It also gives me a new appreciation for the things I thought I dreaded! One thing that keeps me motivated to be productive is looking forward to being out in country. When Jason and I headed to Chester Lake a month ago to do this hike, we were blown away with the calmness and quietness of the snow falling, covering the snow-capped mountains 🏔 in the dreamiest of ways! It was our first snowfall ❄️ of the year, and instead of feeling resentful that autumn might already be coming to a close, I was elated with this picturesque scene that our God painted for us. Finding someone you can 100% completely be yourself with is like finding a rare gem. I’m so glad I found someone I can be in my weirdest, grossest, dumbest state and he’ll only love me more! (Right @jasonmengvisuals 😏?) There’s pretty much no boundary between us 😂 and maybe you prefer to have some! But no matter what, having that person you can be completely comfortable and vulnerable in front of is important for YOU to get to know the real you! One thing you should definitely consider when you visit Banff and Yoho national parks in the summer, is to take a canoe ride! We honestly LOVED IT! As of this year, the cost to rent a canoe 🛶 for an hour at the following lakes is:
- Emerald Lake $70/hr
- Lake Louise $125/hr ($85 for guests at the Fairmont)
- Moraine Lake $80/hr Now, if you have your own canoe or other non-motorized boat, you could take it out whenever you like to any lake in Banff National Park! Which lake would you want to canoe on first? 📸 @jasonmengvisuals

Well we just had our first snowfall ❄️😬 So I’m reminiscing about our gorgeous autumn colours in the mountains! ANDDDDD Jason and I are coming to you with a throwback to summer too! 👇🏻 ✨The first video of our BC series will be released today at 3pm MST (link in bio)! 🙌🏻 We got to visit Kelowna for the first time, which is located in Canada’s very own Napa Valley: the Okanagan! Fun fact: my parents went there shortly before we did and they loved it so much that they’re thinking of retiring there! NEW BLOG POST! It’s been a minute, but I’ve finally put together a two-day itinerary and guide to visiting Yosemite National Park! (Check out the “latest blog post” link in bio!) Jason and I got a chance to check this gold destination last summer and it was more beautiful than I imagined! We had a lot of lessons learned from that weekend trip which I’ve integrated in this post! Disclaimer: this guide is not inclusive of travel restrictions due to the pandemic and should be used for future travel purposes in normal circumstances!
