Fall Bake Workshop by Daily Clove

On this past bright and sunny October Saturday, I came into Janice Buckingham’s welcoming and beautiful home and joined four other ladies around the kitchen island. They were all munching on Janice’s delicious snack platter filled with fruits, crackers, candied nuts, cucumber slices, and centred with her homemade vegan jalapeño cheese and marmalade. On the white marble counter was placed a cute, tiny dish with my name written in it that laid over top of five different recipe cards. The recipe at the top of my pile was the one I was going to be baking this afternoon.

After we got settled in, Janice invited us to take a seat on a pillow in her living room where we gathered for a short but uplifting meditation session before we embarked on our kitchen madness. It was soothing and reviving and set us up for success in our healthy fall baking sesh.

I was in charge of superfood two-bite brownie making and my gosh were they simple to make and yet very much a healthier alternative to regular brownies!

We each took and made a different dessert and all had a taste/one to take home from every dish. All of them were curated to be vegan, healthier alternatives to some fall classics, and most were gluten-free! Below I’ve listed all five desserts, a couple for which she’s posted the recipes for on her blog at!
