I’m glad Jason found out about them and we snatched two of them off the Costco shelf right before they sold out!  Sure we get some funny looks while we ride them, but being able to fold them into our car without a bike rack and actually enjoy riding uphill is well worth the stares!       Restrictions are tighter but are you as relieved a Restrictions are tighter but are you as relieved as I am that hotels will always keep their doors open?  I couldn’t imagine our whole year and some at home without the ability to take mini trips here and there. Our plans of postponing our international travels to this spring failed to be realized once again and so we made sure to book some lovely stays here in Alberta.  It might be the same destinations we’ve visited countless times, but that change of pace and scenery is much needed for souls of wanderlust.       Do you like wide angle captures?  Those of you wi Do you like wide angle captures?  Those of you with wide angle camera lenses on your phones might love or hate this feature. I personally love it! There’s so much more of the scene that you can see with just one click, one image. BUT there’s a catch: it can cause a lot of distortion. Straight lines can turn into round lines and what is large in real life can look much smaller on screen.  I kind of feel like we should take life like this, with multiple lenses, each one designated for a different situation. Sometimes we want to amplify what is great and brings us joy, focus on that, even narrow the focus on a specific thing or moment that we love. Other times we need to look at the bigger picture, make what we think is so big and insurmountable look tiny in comparison to our potential.  What lens did you pick up today?  📸 @jasonmengvisuals

Sorry for the mini hiatus ☺️ Got quite busy these past few weeks and I’m not the best at dividing my attention 😝  This past Tuesday, our government announced that we are back in stage 1 of our reopening process. That means we took three giant steps back 😔 This is the third lockdown and it just feels like major déjà vu and not in a good way.  I feel for everyone who’s gotten sick and everyone who’s taking care of them right now. The burden is heavy on them right now and they need our prayers more than ever.  Do you think that once the vaccine rolls out to everyone that things will only get better from there? What are your thoughts? I hope that it certainly is a step in the right direction. But I’m not sure what to think anymore since we’ve tried so many remedies and they haven’t helped the situation. Trying to be hopeful here but it’s hard not to be a realist either.  📸 @jasonmengvisuals
