  “I am looking at ze moon, looking at ze moon, 15 “I am looking at ze moon, looking at ze moon, 15 seconds has gone by!” Anyone wanna take a guess as to which movie that’s from? 😆🌖  This was by far my favourite lake skating experience ever 🥲 I realized this year, after venturing to different spots to skate on, how rare it is to get the perfect conditions. This time was it!  Sometimes you come across in life the best conditions/timing to achieve what you hope to achieve.   How incredible it was to spend our fifth Valentine    How incredible it was to spend our fifth Valentine’s Day weekend with each other falling in love with our city again!  @chinookblast got me and Jason feeling all kinds of ways as we took to the streets of downtown Calgary on Saturday with fresh eyes and an urge to discover our city’s amazing artists! We even managed to forget about the crazy cold we’ve been experiencing and simply be present to take in this midwinter initiative. Thankfully, the next two weekends (Feb. 19-21 & 26-28) will be so much warmer to enjoy Chinook Blast from East Village to Stephen Ave to Eau Claire.  All the exhibits are perfectly placed across downtown to create a true walkable art show experience. It encouraged all visitors to keep our distance from each other while we saw each and every spot, especially since we’ve got to have our masks on to take part in exploring the sites.   Our romantic weekend getaway with @buffalomountain    Our romantic weekend getaway with @buffalomountainlodge has completely given us a whole new image of Banff! We love Banff Ave but staying on Tunnel Mountain just felt like home.  The gorgeous wood fireplace, the beautifully renovated suite with a brightened kitchen and bathroom... When it was time to go home, I felt like I was LEAVING home.  But what made our weekend stay at Buffalo Mountain Lodge the amazing getaway that it was, was the absolutely wonderful staff and our in-room dining experience! I never knew the restaurant could be brought right to us, and yet they did so impeccably! Can’t wait for our next trip with @crmresorts 🤗  .

  Another big world, small human shot for ya 🤗  Another big world, small human shot for ya 🤗  These are by far my favourite for me and Jason to shoot because they showcase the depths of the landscape and demonstrate how tiny I really am in comparison! Yes, they take a bit more time and coordination what with us shouting at each other (a lot of “moooooove!” and “whaaaaaat?!”) and waiting for each of us to get to where we’re supposed to be, but they’re so fun in the moment and exciting to see the results later on!   When you've finally found the "ones"!  I never ca    When you've finally found the "ones"!  I never cared much for winter wear until Jason and I started spending hours in the cold and bearing the frustration and pain that come with numb feet and stinging toes! I thought there was something wrong with my feet - I have poor circulation - when I got my first pair of winter boots a few years ago and within 10 minutes, they'd be freezing again. Even the type of socks I wore had no bearing.  In came my Jess boots from @baffinworldwide and I never had to worry about freezing, painful toes anymore! I wear my thin little ankle socks in these and my feet still come out warm and comfortable out of my -50C (-58F) rated boots! They're completely waterproof so I never have to be concerned with stepping in foot-high snow when we're adventuring, and the inside is lined with the softest material I've ever laid my feet in.  I found the ones. Now take me back out to the mountains! -20C (-4F) week? I'm ready!  📸 @jasonmengvisuals

  Hi friends! 🙋🏻‍♀️  A lot of new faces Hi friends! 🙋🏻‍♀️  A lot of new faces around here the past couple of months 🥰 I am so grateful to you for constantly motivating me to get out there and do what I love!! You’ve also inspired me to get on those beautiful frozen lakes while the rinks are closed and I am all the better for it ⛸ What a blessing it’s been to have you all here, to meet so many of you and talk about what we love. Even meeting some of you in person and exploring together! 🤩  In the spirit of getting to know each other more, I’m bringing back three facts about me you may or may not know and I’d love for you to jump in and tell me something about yourself!  1️⃣ I have one foot two sizes smaller than the other. My right skate boot has been customized to fit it AND add height between my boot and blade!  2️⃣ I have a brother over 5 years younger than me who’s obsessed with thrift shopping!  3️⃣ I’ve lived in Singapore for three years as a kid and hope to visit again soon (God willing)!  📸 @jasonmengvisuals  .
